Elisa Hernandez became the Denver Broncos team reporter in 2024. She is the first Latina team reporter in franchise history. She host a weekly Broncos preview show called "Broncos Weekend" and provides insight on podcast, social and digital platforms. She also remains the Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium host. She hosts a Dodgers LIVE 30 minute pregame show, as well as in-game segments. During summer 2024, she covered the Paris Olympics for Telemundo Deportes/NBC following a season covering "Sunday Night Football".

For three years she was the digital host for ElSnapNFL, which is the NFL's only U.S. Latino focused Instagram account from 2021-2023. In 2021, she also launched her own podcast "Sports-Ish" on the Bleav Podcast NetworkEarly in her career she worked for Spectrum SportsNet in the Studio Operations department and was part of a team that won an Emmy for their work on Access SportsNet: Dodgers. She returned to Spectrum SportsNet in 2019 working closely with 7x-Emmy winner and Los Angeles Dodgers reporter Alanna Rizzo.

 

As field producer, Elisa interviewed players for both pre and postgame shows throughout the Dodgers record-breaking season, as well as postseason. She won her second Emmy following the teams coverage of the Dodgers 2019 campaign. She returned as field producer during the Dodgers 2020 Championship run. During the MLB offseason, she continued her work at NFL Network. Along with editing, she served as a contributor for NFL TrendZone interviewing athletes in Spanish and English. Throughout the 2020 NFL Playoffs, she produced, edited and hosted playoff game previews.

 

She began her journey with the NFL Network in 2013 starting off as an intern for the Digital Media department. She returned in 2015 as a ticker operator, and by the following year was working back in the Digital Media Department editing features and show segments that were posted on NFL.com.

 

Elisa was offered the opportunity to work with NFL International at the start of the 2017 NFL season. As one of the few bilingual editors, she took pride in producing Spanish features and content to be sent out to the NFL’s Mexico division. She was a vital part in launching TrendZone which started off as a Facebook LIVE show and is now a weekly podcast and YouTube show. 

 

In addition to her roles at Spectrum SportsNet & NFL Network, in 2016, Elisa served as a YouTube host and editor-in-chief for DodgersNation.com, which is one of the top 50 baseball sites in the world. She was also the Los Angeles Lakers in-arena host for the 2016-17 NBA season. During her time with the Lakers she interviewed special guests, held contest, introduced halftime talent and ran promotions. 

 

Elisa attended the University of Southern California (USC). She graduated from USC Annenberg, School for Communication and Journalism, with a bachelor’s in digital journalism along with two minors one in communication and another in business.
